Sweetness and light
I have been glum. Earlier today several of my valentines came back through the mail slot, returned for missing either the address label or the stamp. I dispaired of my sweethearts missing a smile and the shoddy adhesive on the stamps that cost A DOLLAR each. As they fell on the floor I thought of giving up sending them next year, but then, the last item came into the house. It was from Miss Lis! All taped up tight was a framed, gothed up version of this photograph. It depicts the light in my studio's bathroom. It is magic.

And then, to complete my ascent into well being, a bar of chocolate enrobed marzipan fell out of the package! Ah. Suddenly it didn't matter that the sky was weeping iceballs into my grey, grey world. I can continue.
Yay! Glad it arrived in one piece! Thanks again for the sox!
