Pulling out the stops

I am working with an ancient set of Sargent soft pastels. 100 in a flat wooden dovetailed case, with rusted ball latches-a lot of these pigments are now off the market because they are dangerous or too expensive to produce. Cobalt, pure Cadmium sulfides, Chromium oxides and, bonus! Vermillion! Genuine Ultramarine, guaranteed! No. Not sharing. Gotta wash up now.
