I have a new job. It comes with a private office with a wall of windows. The people are really nice. More notable is that there is not a smelly little dog begging for my sandwich. No one is throwing heavy objects...wish me the best!

Mmmmmonkey on my back

Although it's been five years since I quit smoking, I still struggle with wanting a cigarette. The craving tugs especially when I see someone lounging in the sun on the steps outside blowing leisure clouds in the breeze.

Starting the Season

One of the things that is so fun about growing peppers is that there are so many varieties. Besides the colors paralyzing your cones and rods, I mean. Of the twelve seed lots started in March, many seedlings have never grown past two leaves and one or two types sprouted and vanished. So I like to see what the nurseries and hardware stores have on offer. It seems there are less choices this year. There are no Belgian Carrots nor any El Paso Grandes. I may have to break down and buy a Giant Marconi.
