Studio commentary

I picked up a crayon to color a drawing of my cat, Homer, and the label called the tint "macaroni and cheese". Must be the kind from a box mix.

Down on the farm

The pepper plants have reached a stage, where they need more space each. Some of them are fruiting but still green and some were gangly. Staking is super easy, the bamboo came from the neighbor's alley fringe.

Day five

We finally got the electricity to our house restored. I wonder how many days before the soreness from the heat cramps subsides.

Day Three

This is getting on my nerves. Literally. I flinched at the cold water in the shower this morning and have had a sore neck all day. Oh well. So many have fewer blessings even as cranky as I feel. Like, f'instance, the guy behind us has a generator. I don't know what irritates me more, that it keeps me up from the noise or that the guy has his lights on.

Day Two

I heard hubby this morning cheering and urging: "Come on baby you can do it! Let's go!". I went to see what the excitement was about. Turns out the lights on the coffee pot flickered on. It gave us a few brief moments of hope. I feel so powerless, sitting in the dark, sweating.
