Family time

Hubby was speaking quite volubly and the teenager took the earbuds out to ask "wot". I told her not to mind. Daddy was talking to the plush toy pig, not her. And we all said
" Harumphhh!"

Sitting Ducks

The whole East Coast has cancelled all scheduled activity for today in advance of getting slammed by the hurricane on approach. We are provisioned and holed up at home, hoping for the best. It may turn dark and wet but we have peppers and beer.

Night Life

Hubby and I went to Philadelphia yesterday and got accosted by zombies as we went for a beer. Luckily, no one was bitten and we escaped with our brains only mildly damaged.

Office Window

Although I have the best windows with peppers in my office I'm glad it's Friday.

Landmark

This gas cylinder is 258 feet tall. The best view of it of from the highway, but is seen here from the night delivery dock of a nearby warehouse. The Washington Post reported that it is scheduled to blown up and that it is not, according to local legend, filed with vinegar.

Post Industrial Condition

It's too wet outside to go hunt manholes. Perhaps I will go take pictures of the giant gas cylinder on I 83 Before they blow it up.
