The Tulips

At home, I figured out why the lovely tulips from the grocery were vastly reduced. The blooming bulbs were horribly pot-bound! Transplanted into a proper vessel they are doing very well. They don't even look real. The best part is, is that when they have faded I will put the pot outside and bring it back in next winter for fresh tulips.

Another piece from the IPhone show has found a new home. This image of the sedum at Cylburn now graces an interior landscaper's palm room. I had his house in mind when I framed it.

Winter Grouse

We had an inch of snow yesterday for the evening commute. If that's all the snow Baltimore gets for now I am fine with that. At least it's warming up. I think a pot of tulips for the window is in order.

I'm thinking the knitting activists are sending their children to the school across the street, as a teepee gets woven around this tree.

The definition of insanity

So I sent off another grant application. Yeah I know. And I may as well drive over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge throwing money out my open car windows. But if I don't, they win.
