Today the weather was unbearably hot and muggy, until the usual summer afternoon thunder storm passed through. No damages or fires this time. In fact, the sun shone through the rain. Been that way all my time.*

Face Book War

 I always, since it was new, told my friends and relations that I didn't want my face on Facebook. So they did not post photos of me, except for when my back was to the camera. I failed to see why giving my phone number to them would enhance my security as they claimed, so I didn't. They got it somehow anyway. Then they replaced the camera app with a look alike icon and it took me a week to find the real app and delete thiers. It was still in my real camera, as I kept seeing thier logo in the corner vanish quickly. My phone started to act funky.
.When I turned it on, it would open the camera. Pointed at me. I replaced the camera app again. It has tried to trick me by suggesting I exchange selfies on Messenger. It would not let me post any new pictures unless I allowed access to all the data on my phone and all its apps. No way. Y'know, i have nothing to hide but my own personal information like my IDs, my tax returns, insurance, medical stuff, grant appllcations and so forth. The real issue here is that it is trying to create a demographic it can sell to marketers. Today I started posting this diatribe on Fb and surprize! my screenview and keyboard went went wonky. The backspace button and spacebar wouldn't work. Every keyboard button typed a T. I will say it again, data miners: STUFF It. Now i get a lot of posts and ads aimed at liberal democrats and tree huggers. Almost, Data Miners! You see my self portrait, above? Only my friends can tell who it is, mostly by my painting style. Nyaaa nyaaa nyaaa! Next week I'm getting a new phone and if it comes with unremovable Face Book, as did this one, I DON'T WANT IT.

I smelt a fire, though it was raining in sheets. I saw smoke outside my window. Then i saw the lightning outside that knocked the power out.so here I am in the dark wasting my battery to tell you about it. ark using up my battery to tell you about it.

Insomnia

I fell asleep at 7 or so and woke up at 2am, feeling an urgent need for a wrist watch. I haven't worn one in many years but still look at my left hand in habit. I'm one of those people who make watches stop, magnetic fields collide or something...so what kind do I get?
